Sports day 2024 was perhaps the best in recent memory. Students from across the school demonstrated their ability and commitment through a range of activities. The events were; 100m, 200m, howler throw, shot put, long jump and culminating in a 4 x 100m relay race. All of the teams put in phenomenal effort and put in big scores across the events. However, there could only be one winner and Lime (Green) took the day by a narrow margin. It was a big win in the relay that took them over the line.
Special mentions were given to several students who demonstrated outstanding commitment and attainment. Tyler Sowerby (10X) was excellent in the throwing events. Hayden Storey (7X) and Dominic Scoones (7Y) were exceptional throughout the day and especially helping Lime to romp to victory in the relay. Mason Stannard (7Y) impressed for his welcome and kindness to transitioning year 6 students who joined in for the morning.

An extra special thanks goes out to all the staff and visitors who helped put on this event, including the grounds keepers who worked tirelessly to prepare the venue, to our own resident DJ Mr. Hird, whose enthusiasm elevated enjoyment for everyone this Sports Day.
