Leading the way with the Parent Partnership Award

We have received an award from the National Children’s Bureau for our positive work with Parents and Carers!

“Leading Parent Partnership” is the second award we have achieved since the growth and development of Elemore hall and is down to everyone’s hard work. We’ve summarised the feedback below. We are extremely proud of this achievement as it demonstrates the work we put in to form positive relationships with all parents and carers;

“The school is in constant contact with parents. Daily communications are in place for families as need arises to best support students. The school provides weekly personal tutor meetings for students around social and academic targets”

“The school has a strong, close-knit community, with relationships built around mutual trust and fairness”

“The school fosters a warm, community feel for pupils and families, with special events throughout the year, including charity fundraisers and concerts”

“A commitment to parental partnership is firmly embedded in the School Improvement Plan and clearly communicated in the vision and values”

“The school shows a relentless commitment to improving cultural capital for students, reinforcing positive mental health and filling gaps in learning.

Good use of Social Media to engage parents, including signposting via twitter”

“Information for parents is of good quality and highly accessible”

“The school benefits from involved, passionate Governance”

“Non-teaching staff, including active Family Support Workers, signpost and support families well, including those with a very high level of need”

“Progress and Achievement meetings are held regularly and parents are strongly encouraged to visit the school and be part of the EHCP review process”

“The school signposts and works effectively with a wide range of external agencies to support pupils and their families”

“The school constantly evolves and responds to the needs of pupils and their families”

The award included an external audit and evidence based process including feedback from Pupils, Parents, Carers, Governors and Staff.

Well done to everyone and keep up the good work!
