Challenge #2: Hungry Hungry Hippos

This year Mr. Raine put an exciting twist on Hungry Hungry Hippos. Pupils competed to see which team could collect all of the balls the quickest, the catch being that they could only do so whilst lying belly-first on a skateboard and being guided by a member of their team!

Using baskets to collect the balls, pupils and staff worked together to score a high-score time for their teams and had an absolute blast while doing so!

Communication is something many would agree to be essential for any person’s mental health. In the Icebreaker Challenge Ms. Cashmore organised a pupil-led dialogue activity centred around greetings, icebreakers and introductions.

The activity gave pupils a chance to interact positively with pupils that they might rarely interact with due to differences in age and class group.
