Pupil Views

Pupil views are very important and we seek them in several ways, such as:-

  • Every pupil has a regular personal tutorial with their own personal tutor where they can discuss things in a 1:1 setting
  • There are lots of opportunities throughout the school day for pupils to speak with staff in all areas of the school to share their views, concerns, ideas or to ask questions
  • Tutor time is a good opportunity to gather views on different themes
  • The JLT is a more formal way that pupils can present ideas or ensure that their voice is heard
  • There are pupil questionnaires at the termly PAMs meetings
  • Other questionnaires and surveys are conducted at different times such as the PASS surveys
  • Pupils can also be nominated as Peer Mentors. They receive training to listen to other pupils and support their peers with any issues in school.

Please see the JLT section for more information.
